Developing Sketches part 3 - Project Development

 This is part 3 of developing my sketches. In this part, I've changed the design of the wave idea based on the primary research exercise we did in week 4. 


The first pictures are the sketches with this different shape and the wave part of the exterior in the middle of the building which extends on either side. On one side the extended part will support a terrace.





Here are the digital tryout sketch 




In the next sketch, I wanted to try to apply the metal columns on both extended sides of the wave 




The next picture is the same idea but with a changed main shape. This is a half-oval shape with the same wave exterior in the middle, which extends on the sides and supports a terrace. 



Then I tried out creating the shape into a digital sketch. I thought I could either create it into more of a half-oval shape or make it look like a half water drop.

Creating my boards process / results - Project Development

 This is my process of creating my boards for my final art portfolio project, using Photoshop.  First I created a new document by clicking on 'New File', then 'print', 'A3', and chose the landscape mode. after my page was open I went on 'Unsplash' to find a related background.  Then I clicked on 'File' that's at the top left corner, 'open' and 'on your computer' and chose the image that I downloaded.  After that, I selected the image with the 'rectangular marquee' tool which is the first icon on the left toolbar and then clicked on 'edit', 'copy' and then went to my first page, clicked on 'edit' again and pasted it. Then from the right tool bar I lowered the opacity to 40% which is located at the 'layers' category.  Then I followed the same steps with uploading my concept image and arranged the size and placement by clicking on the 'move' tool and then clicking on 'show trans...

Sequential photos part 2

                                    Sequential photos part 2  A task we had in week one was to take our own sequential photos . We started by thinking of different creative ideas then we had to sketch them on a piece of paper , the first thing that i thought of was a series of elevator pictures.The reason behind it is that lately i've been having some elevator problems at my accommodation building so that is what i sketched , a picture of the sketch is included below . In the first shot is the picture of the elevator with the doors closed, the second one the doors are starting to open ,the third ,the doors are completely open still working normally .
