My architecture project for this term's art portfolio module will be oceanic-themed and the concept is a wave-shaped workplace building. It will be 3-4 levels with a minimalist design, there will also be a terrace on the top level under the wave structure. The wave part of the exterior will start from the ground up diagonally and full glass walls will close the rest of the open space, creating a half-diagonal square. The exact location is still undecided but it will be near the ocean so the glass walls will provide amazing views as well as a lot of natural lighting. I will be creating 3 3D pieces and 3 2D pieces, the 3d pieces will be the exterior of the building and the 2d pieces will be sketches of the interior and floor plans. I will be scanning the sketches and photographing the final 3d pieces to use for my portfolio.

Creating my boards process / results - Project Development

 This is my process of creating my boards for my final art portfolio project, using Photoshop.  First I created a new document by clicking on 'New File', then 'print', 'A3', and chose the landscape mode. after my page was open I went on 'Unsplash' to find a related background.  Then I clicked on 'File' that's at the top left corner, 'open' and 'on your computer' and chose the image that I downloaded.  After that, I selected the image with the 'rectangular marquee' tool which is the first icon on the left toolbar and then clicked on 'edit', 'copy' and then went to my first page, clicked on 'edit' again and pasted it. Week 5 further research

 In week 5 of planning, I'm doing some more research. Today I'm researching Rem Koolhaas, a Dutch architect who is known for his gravity-defying structures. His innovative and futuristic style has been setting standards for years, he thinks that "Terms like city, street, identity, and architecture are things of the past. The past is too small to live in".
