Creating my boards - Board 1 Concept - Project Development

This is my process of creating my architecture boards using Photoshop for my major project. This is the first one which will be the concept.

First, I opened my account and clicked on "new file" at the top left

Then I clicked on "print", "A3" and landscape mode and the new page opened.

Then I wanted to add some colour to the board so it wouldn't be just plain white, for that I chose the "rectangle tool" from the left tool bar and started creating stripes at the left and top of the page.

This is what I ended up with, I chose the primary colours to match with the concept of the building. I chose the colour by clicking on each stripe and then going to the right toolbar settings and clicking on "fill" and then chose the colours i wanted.

After that, I added my titles, at the top and left of the page. I did that by going to the left toolbar and choosing the "t" icon tool for text.

Then I clicked on "file" at the top left corner and then on "open", then on "on your computer" and chose the file for the picture I wanted to open on my page. After that I selected the image with the "rectangular marquee" tool .

Then copied it then pasted it on my board. I changed the size by clicking on " show transform controls" from the top setting bar and then the placement of it in the top middle of the page.

Then I added my concept text, I chose the same tool as before for that and wrote in "California FB" font 18 pt. I also changed my title texts, I placed my building name on the left side of the page on top of the blue stripe and the concept title on the top of the page. To make the text vertical I clicked on the "toggle text orientation" option on the top setting bar and then changed the colour to white, again from the top setting bar to the "colour" option. The font for the titles is "Castellar" and 24/30pt.

This is the end result of my first board
