Experimenting with my project - Class task

This week's task was to experiment with new ways to improve our project. Since I was having a few problems with my design and the structure of it I thought I could develop that more with this task. While talking with my tutor on advice for the towers, Wassily Kandinsky and Tom Fruin were an inspiration for how I would change the design. First of all, I am going to change the shape of the towers from circles to polygons and then the whole window design which was free circled shape/lines, to squares and rectangles like pixels. I am going to pull and push some of them into the wall and out so it won't be just a straight wall with shapes. I am also changing my colour scheme by using more coloured walls and windows.

This a visual of how I'm gonna use the new idea on the walls with the newly shaped towers.

This was a building that also inspired the new idea.

  1. Talk more about Tom Fruin and his inspirations - a post on his work is necessary as he is a major inspiration for this project now.
