Design building sketches - Tribrid building part 3
For today I will show part 3 of my process for the design sketches - Tribrid building
I am starting first with the base ground by drawing lines with the pencil tool
Next, I decided to change the process and build another base ground for the buildings and before that, I also drew the square bases for the towers, the same as before I used the pencil tool and the blue, red, and green lines for help.
when I completed the walls with the pencil tool for the base structure I showed in the previous image, this is how it looked like.
For the next picture, I used the push/pull tool for the left side toolbar to heighten the towers by clicking on the roofs and dragging them upwards. Then I chose a different background landscape which I found in the right side toolbar, clicked on "styles" then "default styles: and "landscape architecture style". I also changed the first base ground floor by choosing a grass cover from the right side toolbar, "materials" and then "landscape, fencing, and vegetation". Lastly, I started drawing windows on the towers with the pencil tool since I still couldn't add actual windows or doors.
Here, after I finished drawing on the windows I added glass material to them which I found on the right toolbar, "materials" and "glass and mirrors". I also added new material on the second base ground floor and the towers from the same material section.
Then I added strips of wall material to represent the bridges between the towers with the pencil tool. Here are some different angle shots.
Then i tried to create some stairs for the second ground floor and added the same materials to them and also added a path in front of them with the rock and grass material.
This is the result of this process, overall I like how the towers turned out better than the previous sketches but I also noticed a few mistakes when I was done creating this, like the stairs not being symmetrical and leaning more to the left side the same as the towers, they were a bit off the center point. Something else I noticed too was that they were some technical problems and the materials I've chosen were not showing how they were shown in the previous sketches, like the grass, for example, is just color and no texture nor detail, I tried fixing it by refreshing the page but still, it wouldn't change, and lastly, I couldn't add any additional decorations trees, benches, etc for the same reason. Aside from the problems found in this design, I think the idea is much clearer shown.
Good process and evaluation - well done
